Greenville’s Poinsett Corridor is a historic community with immeasurable potential to create jobs and bring opportunity back. That’s why Greenville County and the Greenville County Redevelopment Authority (GCRA) are investing in the revitalization of the Poinsett Corridor through the Façade Improvement Program (FIP).
Greenco Beverage Company is a prime example. Founded here in Greenville in 1916, the bottling company recently outfitted a former thrift store with a 12,000-sq. ft. distribution center located on Metts Street near the intersection of Furman Hall Road and Poinsett Highway. The distribution center’s bottle cap sign, visible from the highway, is the result of the Façade Improvement Program.
